Verne opens up about Heath
|
Celebrity Big Brother star Verne Troyer has spoken for the first time about the death of Heath Ledger.
He worked with the late star on The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus and said he was one of the best actors he'd ever worked with.
Heath died last January from an accidental overdose after he'd finished filming The Dark Knight.
Speaking to his fellow housemates Verne said: "He was a genuine nice guy."
Showing the housemates a tattoo of a heart on his hand he said: "This is where I got the heart.
"It's in remembrance, and also just to let me know that life is short and you don't know what is going to happen.
"The brief time that I knew [Heath], he made such an impression on me. I was blown away by what happened. It's still hard to talk about."
His emotional comments came after Verne was asked who were his favourite actors that hed previously worked with. He named Michael Caine, Anthony Hopkins and finally Heath Ledger as his three all-time greats.
